On the afternoon of May 11th 2021, the Postgraduate Training Management Department (PGD) welcome the Executive Vice-Rector of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine – Asssoc.Prof. Nguyen Thanh Hiep, MD,PhD to meet the leaders and experts of the department. Nguyen Thi My Hoa, MD,PhD - Head of the department, gave a quick report on personnel resource matters and the status of the department’s work in progress. The Postgraduate Training Management is currently managing all levels of specialized doctors at level I, level II, hospital resident doctor, Master of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine, and other training courses. The number of students and majors has grown steadily over the years. The head of PGD also reported the personnel and other relating problems of launching new profession codes and several other operational difficulties, such as: the poor usability of the management application or the pressure to verify certain certificates. Assoc. Prof. Thanh Hiep shared his experience and provided direction for the department's current and upcoming work. The rector board determined that the work of the PGD is highly academic and demanding, so it is necessary to upskill and strengthen the department's workforce to meet the job requirements. The rector board will also create best conditions to ease the difficulties of the department in hope of mastering its performance.
