Vaccines are one of the proactive measures to prevent dangerous infectious diseases. Current vaccines against COVID-19 are effective in protecting from over 60 to over 90%. In addition to reducing the number of people infected with the virus, vaccination also reduces the number of cases of complications from the disease and the number of hospitalizations and deaths. Vaccination is important to protect volunteers and help health workers feel secure to work and take care of public health.
Even in a more stressful epidemic situation than ever, the General Clinic still operates for the mission of taking care of public health and ensuring the full implementation of measures to prevent the spread of the disease. The clinic has arranged 2 screening tables and 2 vaccination rooms to ensure the fastest completion of the vaccination process. Before vaccination, the person who is about to be injected is consulted and screened to ensure that the right target is assigned. After vaccination, injected person is monitored for 30 minutes according to the correct procedure to detect early post-vaccination reactions.
Post-injection monitoring area also ensure distancing
The activity of vaccinating against COVID-19 for medical staff of the Clinic and volunteers is also a practical action to promote people's trust in vaccines. This action contribute to helping Vietnam achieve the goal of at least 75% of the population being vaccinated against COVID-19 and achieve herd immunity by the end of 2021.
